Backpack started because we needed to talk to solve a problem. At first, it was ad-hoc. Then it was weekly. Eventually, twice a week, we would get together to talk, laugh, yell, vent and just be ourselves. I will never forget how important and powerful those sessions were for me. I hope, as you all move on, you find the value of true connections in your next workplace like we did here and know that there should always be a spot where you can be your true self. We solved a lot of problems together. You should all be very proud of what you did during your time at Parachute:
Brahm – You launched that US platform like it was no one’s businesses. And then got promoted to run Marketing. Always in amazement of your expertise.
Ali – Hired to help QA, ended with all Testing responsibility under your belt, plus P1.0, plus an attempt at automated testing. A realist and a great manager, you knocked our socks off.
Katerina – As someone who didn’t start out on Delivery, not only did you make the team yours, you were a key reason the machine moved every day. Your breadth of knowledge and problem solving abilities are legendary. It makes sense that you are a real rocket scientist.
Punya – You saved the Parachute so many times – at CA launch, at Mercer, at US Products..list is too long. You have a technical mindset -its true. But when mixed with your practical approach and never-ending energy, you are unrivalled in the industry.
Gaurav – You make complex things looks so easy – its dazzling. We all leaned on you in many ways and you were able to step up every time. Awe-struck by your never-ending powers.
As we end this chapter, please know how much you all gave to each other & myself. I wanted to end this on a high & find a way to say ‘thank you’. Click on the dashboard link below to get your gift (or wait for more opportunities to get points!) I hope you savour whichever award you redeem.
Yours,
Angela Sethi
